The church “St. Zosim” is located in the park of the old part of Sozopol.

It is located on the ruins of a medieval church and is an architectural monument of cultural significance. It is named after Saint Zosim Sozopolski – a saint and patron of the town of Sozopol.

It was built in 1857 during the Crimean War with the help of two Englishmen.

The church is built of hewn stones and is a single-nave single-apse building. It houses valuable icons from the second half of the XIX century and icons of the Sozopol painters Yani and Dimitar. Above the entrance of the church is a built-in memorial plaque from the 5th century BC, dedicated to a woman, a resident of the ancient city of Apollonia.
